Thank you so much to our amazing fans for joining us at Rosatis last Friday in Cumming, GA! We had a great time playing two and a half straight hours of Rush music for our loyal regulars and new fans alike.
This was a special night because we had guest keyboardist Jeff Blanks with us, allowing us to play songs we rarely play. While our keyboardist Ed is amazing, he is also the bassist, which means that some songs are just impossible for him without extra arms! So we invite Jeff along to help out.
With Jeff, we played songs like Red Lenses, Force 10, and The Big Money. He even played a bit on our most recent new song debut, Cygnus X-1 Book 1.
Jeff then took a break while we rolled along with tunes like Natural Science and Lakeside Park. We loved seeing the fans air drumming correctly to just about every song! The set list is below for your viewing pleasure.
When Jeff came back, we played two songs we had NEVER played before, Territories and Show Don't Tell. What a blast! The crowd sang along “Show me don't tell me” and we enjoyed every second.
As the show drew to a close, the fans cheered for more, so we honored a request from a gentleman who shouted out “What You're Doing!” a few times during the night. We love that song, so we launched into it. The man who requested it literally jumped for joy, which made us so happy!
